METS Exceeds Expectations

METS Exceeds Expectations

In November, Jubilee Clips extended their participation in the marine sector by exhibiting at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) at the Amsterdam RAI for the first time.P1040266

METS is the world’s largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and systems for the international marine leisure industry. It is organised by Amsterdam RAI in association with International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA). The show’s target groups are yacht builders, naval architects, repair yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina operators and equipment manufacturers from around the world.

Jubilee Clips Managing Director, Ian Jennings said, “Our targets for this show were exceeded due to the broad geography of visitors.  The international nature of enquiries has meant that we are handling show enquiries from as far away as Canada and South Africa and passing on leads to our distributors in places such as Japan and Dubai, as well as the anticipated enquiries from Europe and the UK. We are really pleased with the outcome.”  The show had an increase in visitor numbers from 2013 with over 21,000 attending the event.

UK Sales manager Chris Wood was also thrilled with the attendance from the UK, “Lots of end users and distributors made the effort to travel from the UK and the show presented a great opportunity to discuss the features and benefits of buying Jubilee quality.”  The Jubilee stand certainly attracted a lot of attention with many visitors happy to meet with representatives from the world famous company.  Klaus Löffler, European Sales Manager, said of the event, “The visitors to this show recognise the importance of reliable, high quality, products and it was really rewarding to hear the positive feedback of so many at a show that we have not previously attended, we will certainly consider returning next year.”
