Jubilee Clips acquires assets of NewTech Tools

Jubilee Clips has acquired assets of NewTech Tools Ltd.  The acquisition was financed from positive operating cashflow.

Jubilee Clips is a high-end manufacturer of hose clips and clamps with over 100 years of history.

NewTech Tools is a manufacturer of press tools and pressed parts which had been operating since 2001.

Jubilee Clips Managing Director Ian Jennings outlined the history of the relationship, “We first engaged NewTech Tools in 2018, around the time that we were re-locating the operations of our previous acquisition (Elms Lightning Fasteners) from Birmingham to our Kent base.  Dick Cordery and his team showed great expertise and delivered much more than the extra toolroom capacity that we were looking for at that time.  This then developed into orders for a number of tools as we expanded certain newer ranges in our portfolio allowing us to bring new lines to market much faster.”

“We were always really proud to work with a truly world leading manufacturer”, says NewTech owner Dick Cordery, “It was quite natural for Jubilee to acquire the assets when I decided to retire and close the business.”

Jennings closed by thanking, “Dick and his team for their support over the last eight years and looking forward to absorbing additional processes at our two manufacturing sites in Gillingham.”
