Jubilee® Clips has recruited a new European Sales Manager to continue its European growth strategy. Born in Australia to German parents Klaus Löffler is as European as they come and looking forward to the opportunity of helping to grow a leading brand.
“British manufacturing is going through something of a renaissance, led by high quality and recognisable brands,” says Klaus, “and the opportunity to join a well-established company that is forward thinking and growing was one I caught with both hands!”
Klaus lives in the Kent countryside with his wife and two children and maintains a cosmopolitan range of interests. He is a qualified ski instructor having fallen in love with the sport as a youth on Mount Kosciuszko in Australia and later working in resorts in the French Alps. He also has a keen interest in cricket and still follows the Australian side during the Ashes series. Klaus has also been a welcome addition to the office when it comes to making a cup of coffee as he is a skilled barista and makes Italian espresso somewhat more expressively than most Brits.
Klaus’ education was also culturally broad as he attended schools in Australia and Germany and universities in both Germany and Sweden. Managing Director Ian Jennings comments; “It is great that Klaus has a broad cultural background as he will be working in a number of different markets and, of course, the ability to speak more than one language should come in handy too. Not only that, but his background in metal pressed components means that his technical product knowledge has a solid base, allowing him to give the best advice to our customers and distributors.”
Klaus joins the existing Jubilee® sales team alongside UK Sales Manager Chris Wood and German Sales Manager Ingo Ingrillini. “We’ve built a great team to meet customer demands and they’re well backed up by a very professional group in the office,” says Ian Jennings, “the only down so far has been Klaus’ frown throughout the recent Ashes series!”
